黄羽鹌鹑和栗羽鹌鹑不同杂交组合对繁殖性能及其F1代生产性能的影响
Effects of different hybrid combinations of yellow-feathered quails and chestnut-feathered quails on reproductive performance and production performance of their F1 generation

Abstract
This study aimed to explore the effects of hybridization between yellow-feathered and chestnut-feathered quails from different geographical origins on their reproductive performance and on the production performance of their F1 generation,which might provide scien-tific and theoretical support for industrialization of quail breeding in Xinjiang.Four hybrid combinations were established using Chinese yellow- feathered quails from Henan(Yu)and Jiangxi(Gan)provinces and Japanese chestnut-feathered quails,and they were GroupⅠ:Yellow- feathered males(Yu)×Chestnut-feathered females(Yu);Group Ⅱ:Yellow-feathered males(Gan)×Chestnut-feathered females(Gan);Group Ⅲ:Yellow-feathered males(Yu)×Chestnut-feathered females(Gan);and GroupⅣ:Yellow-feathered males(Gan)×Chestnut-feathered females(Yu).Each group contained 4 replicates with 50 quails per replicate(male to female ratio 1:4).The results were as follows:The hatching rates of Groups Ⅰ and Ⅲ were significantly higher than that of Group Ⅳ(P<0.05).In terms of the growth performance of the F1 generation,Group Ⅲ showed the highest average daily weight gain.The feed-to-weight ratios of Groups Ⅲ and Ⅳwere significantly lower than those of GroupsⅠandⅡ(P<0.05).GroupⅢexhibited the best body size indices among all the groups(P<0.05).The egg production rate of Group Ⅲ was significantly higher than those of Groups Ⅰ and Ⅳ(P<0.05).The egg yields of GroupsⅠ,Ⅲ,and Ⅳ were higher than that of Group Ⅱ(P<0.05).At 10 weeks of age,Group Ⅲ displayed the highest eggshell strength and yolk-to-albumin ratio(P<0.05).In summary,GroupⅢ,the Yellow-feathered males(Yu)×Chestnut-feathered females(Gan)demon-strated superior performance in core metrics,including reproductive efficiency,offspring growth,and egg quality;establishing an optimal hy-brid combination here for enhancing quail industry development.关键词
