Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of SH3 domain-binding glutamate-rich protein-like protein(SH3BGRL)expression on cardiomyocyte hypertrophy induced by angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ).Methods A hypertrophy model of H9C2 cardiomyocytes was construc-ted.Western blot and RT-PCR were used to detect the expression level of SH3BGRL,and RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of car-diac hypertrophy-related marker genes ANP,BNP,and β-MHC.Results The mRNA expression levels of cardiac hypertrophy-related marker genes significantly increased after overexpression of SH3BGRL(P<0.05).Conversely,the mRNA expression levels of cardiac hypertrophy-related marker genes significantly decreased after silencing SH3BGRL(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression level of SH3BGRL is posi-tively correlated with the expression of cardiac hypertrophy marker genes,suggesting that it could be a potential target for treating myocardial hypertrophy and laying a solid foundation for further research into the function of SH3BGRL in the heart.
