Abstract

[Objective]In order to accurately characterize the spatial heterogeneity characteristics of vegetation communities in vertical dimension,the study conducts the analysis and evaluation of 3D green quantity equity to provide guidance for the spatial planning and layout optimization of green spaces in Wuhan City.[Method]A calculation method of urban green space equity is proposed based on 3D green quantity analysis.This paper takes Wuhan's built-up areas to quantitatively analyze the results of 3D green quantity related calculation with Gini coefficient,Lorenz curve and location entropy,which is used to evaluate the spatial distribution characteristics and their equity of vegetation communities.[Result]1)Within the built-up areas,Hannan District and Qingshan District have the highest equity in terms of the distribution of 3D green quantity resources,while Hongshan District has the lowest equity;2)The matching degree of population-3D green quantity distribution in the built-up areas is low,and the spatial distribution tends to gradually increase from the center to the periphery;and 3)The areas with better matching degree of population-3D green quantity distribution are mostly concentrated in urban parks and scenic/recreational green spaces with better ecological environment and a higher proportion of natural landscape,while the poor areas are mostly concentrated in the old residential areas in the center of the built-up areas.[Conclusion]Significant disparities exist in the equitable distribution of 3DGV across Wuhan's built-up area and among its administrative districts.Compared with conventional 2D green space indicators,equity assessments based on 3DGV indicators could more effectively reveal the structural imbalances in the allocation of urban green space resources.These findings could provide a robust quantitative reference for the optimization of urban green space planning and promoting a more equitable distribution of ecological services.
