Research on Pathways for High-quality Development of Crop Breeding in China Driven by Independent Innovation

Abstract
Biological breeding is a core technology for ensuring food security and enhancing agricultural competitiveness.The phased progress achieved in basic research,foundational tools,breeding chips and other areas were systematically reviewed since China's"14th Five-Year"Plan period.It analyzesd the gaps between the current technological level and international advanced benchmarks,as well as industrial requirements,particularly in core technologies,industrial autonomy and support systems.Building on the exploratory practices of South China Agricultural University,strategic pathways for advancing biological breeding during the"15th Five-Year"Plan period were proposed,aiming to provide decision-making references for accelerating seed self-sufficiency and agricultural modernization.关键词
