Agricultral Microbial Breeding:A Review of Achievements During the"14th Five-Year"Plan Period and Development Prospects for the"15th Five-Year"Plan Period

Abstract
Agricultural microbial breeding is an important field at the intersection of modern biotechnology and agricultural science,serving as a core driving force for ensuring food security and promoting green agricultural development.During the"14th Five-Year"Plan period,significant progress has been made in this area in China,including the improvement of the policy framework and the enhancement of germplasm resource preservation capabilities.Breakthroughs in technologies such as gene editing,synthetic biology and artificial intelligence have driven innovations and applications of microbial fertilizers,plant probiotics,and bio-pesticides,providing strong support for the green transformation of agriculture.The major achievements were reviewed during the"14th Five-Year"Plan period and the technical bottlenecks and challenges related to industrial transformation and safety regulation were analyzed.Looking ahead to the"15th Five-Year"Plan,it is recommended to integrate artificial intelligence with synthetic biology,focusing on national demands for green low-carbon development and biological safety,and establishing a national-level agricultural microbial breeding big data platform,which should enhance our innovation capabilities and promote agricultural modernization.关键词
