标准化口腔护理干预对头颈部肿瘤同步放化疗患者口腔黏膜炎的影响
Influence of Standardized Oral Care Intervention on Oral Mucositis in Patients with Head and Neck Tumors Undergoing Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy

Abstract
Objective:To explore the influence of standardized oral care intervention on oral mucositis in patients with head and neck tumors undergoing concurrent chemoradiotherapy.Method:This study adopted a prospective research method.Totally 100 patients with head and neck tumors who received concurrent chemoradiotherapy in Taoyuan Branch,People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from July 2023 to July 2024 were divided into the control group(n=50)and the intervention group(n=50)according to the random number table method.Patients in both groups were treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy for 5-6 weeks,during which corresponding care measures were given.The control group received routine care,and the intervention group implemented standardized oral care intervention on the basis of routine care.The incidence and severity of oral mucositis(WHO classification standard of oral mucositis)were compared between the two groups.The degree of oral pain in the two groups was evaluated by digital grading scale(NRS).The quality of life of the two groups was evaluated by quality of life questionnaire-core 30(QLQ-C30).The levels of inflammatory indicators in the two groups were evaluated.Result:The incidence and severity of oral mucositis in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Three weeks after concurrent chemoradiotherapy and after its completion,the NRS scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After the completion of concurrent chemoradiotherapy,the functional scores of QLQ-C30 of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group,and the symptom scores was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Three weeks after concurrent chemoradiotherapy and after its completion,the IL-10 levels in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group,and the IL-12 levels was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Standardized oral care intervention plays a positive role in the prevention and relief of oral mucositis in patients with head and neck tumors undergoing concurrent chemoradiotherapy,which helps control the levels of inflammation and reduce the impact of concurrent chemoradiotherapy on the quality of life.关键词
