Research progress on ferroptosis in subarachnoid hemorrhage
摘要
Abstract
Subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)is a severe cerebrovascular disease with high mortality and disability rates which significantly affect patient prognosis.Ferroptosis,a type of cell death characterized by iron accumulation and lipid peroxidation,has garnered increasing attention in primary brain injury and secondary brain injury following SAH.To provide new insights for both basic research and clinical treatment of SAH,this article summarized the characteristics,the relative signaling pathways of ferroptosis after SAH,ferroptosis-mediated alterations in neuron-glia interactions,and therapeutic strategies targeting ferroptosis.关键词
