Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Sepsis-Related Gastrointestinal Dysfunction with Multi-Ethnic Medicine

Abstract
Gastrointestinal dysfunction is a common complication in patients with sepsis and also one of the core links in the prevention and treatment of sepsis.China has a vast territory and a large number of ethnic groups;different ethnic medicines in China have their own unique characteristics in the treatment of sepsis-related gastro-intestinal dysfunction,but there is currently a lack of unified diagnostic and therapeutic criteria or standardized guidelines for this condition.To better exert the advantages of Chinese ethnic medicines in the diagnosis and treat-ment of sepsis-related gastrointestinal dysfunction,the China Medical Association of Minorities led an expert group to systematically sort out and summarize the clinical application of multi-ethnic medicines in this field.Authoritative institutions and experts from 5 ethnic medical fields,i.e.,Traditional Chinese Medicine,Tibetan Medi-cine,Mongolian Medicine,Uyghur Medicine,and Zhuang Medicine,were selected representatively to compile the Expert Consensus on Multi-Ethnic Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment of Sepsis-Related Gastrointestinal Dysfunc-tion.This consensus is applicable to guiding multi-ethnic medicine-based diagnosis and treatment activities for sepsis-related gastrointestinal dysfunction.关键词
