Development and Application of Unbleached Cigarette Paper

Abstract
This study utilized tobacco leaf extracts to impregnate and produce unbleached cigarette papers.Comparative analyses were con-ducted on the thermal pyrolysis components,physical properties,and color difference of the unbleached papers under varying storage dura-tions.Additionally,the sensory quality and smoke chemical composition of the prepared cigarette samples were evaluated.The results indi-cated that under high temperatures,the content of certain flavor-enhancing components in the unbleached papers significantly increased.Among effective aroma-contributing components,nicotine,furfural,oleic acid,and linoleic acid showed significant increases.Pigment deg-radation in unbleached cigarette paper proceeded relatively slowly,maintaining stable color difference with ΔE<1.5.The paper exhibited en-hanced processing tolerance compared to conventional cigarette paper,exerted no significant effect on the release of chemical constituents in cigarette smoke,and demonstrated a certain enhancing effect on both aroma intensity and aroma quality.关键词
