Analysis of Primary Trauma Care Competency and Its Influencing Factors among Emergency Medical Rescue Personnel in Chongqing
摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the on-site primary trauma care(PTC)capability and its influencing factors among emergency medical rescue personnel in Chongqing. Methods A total of 332 emergency medical rescue personnel from emergency centers, emergency departments of general hospitals, and primary medical institutions at all levels in Chongqing were selected by cluster sampling.A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect general in-formation,assess PTC knowledge and operational skills, and conduct statistical analysis. Results The average PTC knowledge score of the 332 emergency medical rescue personnel was(18.54±3.70),and the average PTC operational skill score was(26.52±5.31).Significant differences in PTC knowledge and operational skill scores were observed among rescue personnel with different working years, professional titles, and types of institutions(P<0.05).Those with longer working years, higher professional titles, and higher-level institutions achieved higher scores.Multiple linear regression analysis further indicated that professional title and institution type were independent influencing factors for PTC knowledge scores(P<0.05).Working years, professional title, and institution type were all independ-ent influencing factors for PTC operational skill scores(P<0.05).Conclusions The on-site PTC capability of emergency medical rescue personnel in Chongqing still has room for improvement.Personalized and targeted training should be implemented based on their working years, professional titles, and institution types to comprehen-sively enhance PTC capability.关键词
