胡国俊从风痰论治咳嗽变异性哮喘经验
Hu Guojun's Experience in Treating Cough Variant Asthma from the Perspective of Wind and Phlegm

Abstract
Cough variant asthma(CVA)is characterized by persistent coughing,and modern medical treatments often face challenges such as easy recurrence after discontinuation and suboptimal efficacy.Based on the traditional Chinese medicine theory of"latent wind-phlegm in the lungs",Hu Guojun proposes that the core pathogenesis of CVA involves external wind triggering latent phlegm and internal wind disturbing Qi dynamics,leading to the failure of the lungs in dispersing and descending due to the interaction of wind and phlegm.He advocates the treatment principle of"dispelling wind and eliminating phlegm,harmonizing dispersion and descent".He has developed the empirical formula"Maxuan Erchong decoction"and modifies it according to the patient's constitution and seasonal factors,with syndrome differentiation-based treatment:for wind-cold invading the lungs,add Jingjie(Schizonepetae Herba)and Xixin(Asari Radix et Rhizoma)to dispel cold with warm acridity;for wind-heat scorching the lungs,include Lianqiao(Forsythiae Fructus)and Huangqin(Scutellariae Radix)to clear lung heat;for wind-dryness injuring the lungs,use Beishashen(Glehniae Radix)and Maidong(Ophiopogonis Radix)to nourish Yin and moisten dryness;for liver fire attacking the lungs,employ Pugongying(Taraxaci Herba)and Zhizi(Gardeniae Fructus)to clear liver fire;and for phlegm-stasis binding,add Danshen(Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma)and Sanqi(Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma)to activate blood circulation and unblock collaterals.In clinical practice,patients often report significant symptom relief.Hu emphasizes"differentiating causes according to timing and unifying formulas based on syndromes",which aligns with the holistic view and syndrome differentiation characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine while providing new clinical insights for treating CVA from the wind-phlegm theory.This approach holds important guiding value for the clinical practice of CVA in traditional Chinese medicine.关键词
