摘要

Abstract

[Objective]In order to investigate the allocation patterns and distribution mechanisms of non-structural carbohydrates(NSC)among different organs in citral type of Cinnamomum camphora,and to provide a reference for grasping the carbon metabolism patterns of Cinnamomum camphora.[Method]Taking three different clones of citral type of Cinnamomum camphora as the research subjects,the variation characteristics of soluble sugar(SS),starch(ST),and NSC content in leaves and branches were dynamically monitored,and the differences in NSC and its components were analyzed among different clones as well as their allocation between leaves and branches.[Result]1)The SS content in the branches and leaves of three clones in citral type of Cinnamomum camphora showed a"V"-shaped trend during the growing season,reaching its lowest point in June or July,and then gradually increased during the non-growing season,peaking in December.The dynamic characteristics of NSC content were similar to those of SS.The ST content overall displayed a"V"-shaped curve during the growing season but decreased and remained stable during the non-growing season,with higher levels observed during the growing season compared to the non-growing season.The SS/ST ratio in leaves generally increased as the growth process advanced,whereas in branches,it followed a"W"-shaped trend;2)The distribution of NSC and its components among different organs in the three clones in citral type of Cinnamomum camphora showed that leaves were greater than branches.Except for ST,significant differences were observed for SS,NSC,and SS/ST between leaves and branches,with SS exhibiting the largest dynamic difference between leaves and branches.The proportion of NSC allocated to leaves and branches showed a trend of ST>SS;3)There were varying degrees of correlation between the NSC and their components in the leaf and branch in citral type of Cinnamomum camphora.Leaf SS was significantly positively correlated with branch SS,but significantly negatively correlated with leaf ST and branch ST.[Conclusion]The content of non-structural carbohydrates(NSCs)and their components in citral type of Cinnamomum camphora exhibited significant seasonal variations,with relatively lower accumulation during the rapid growth season.Furthermore,carbon allocation was influenced by factors such as species and organ type.This study provided insights into the carbon allocation mechanism of Cinnamomum camphora and offered guidance for assessing the carbon sequestration capacity of Cinnamomum camphora species.
