Abstract

Water and nitrogen are key factors regulating the growth of ramie.To determine the optimal water-nitrogen combination for water-saving,fertilizer-saving,high-yield,and high-quality ramie cultivation,this experiment used the ramie variety Tri-1 as the material,with normal irrigation and no fertilization as the control(CK).Three water treatments were established,including W1(soil relative water content at 40%-55%of field capacity),W2(Soil relative water content at 55%-70%of field capacity),and W3(Soil relative water content at 70%-85%of field capacity),and three nitrogen treatments,including N1(1.44 g/pot),N2(2.40 g/pot),and N3(3.36 g/pot),totaling 10 treatment combinations.The effects of different water-nitrogen treatments on the agronomic traits and photosynthetic characteristics of ramie were studied.The results showed that W1N1 significantly inhibited ramie plant height,stem diameter,biomass,and photosynthetic performance.Compared with CK,W2N2 significantly increased plant height and stem diameter by 6.98%-14.71%and 6.31%-9.84%,respectively,while net photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate,and intercellular CO2 concentration increased by7.38%-45.36%,19.51%-32.45%,and 0.75%-33.20%,respectively.In conclusion,under the experimental conditions,the W2N2 treatment combination was a relatively reasonable choice for water-saving,fertilizer-saving,high-yield,and high-quality ramie cultivation.
