Research progress on effects of low molecular weight organic acids on plant growth and development
摘要
Abstract
Plant growth and development is a complex process orchestrated by a multitude of endogenous and exogenous factors.As key components of plant metabolism,low molecular weight organic acids(LMWOAs)play an indispensable role in regulating plant growth and development,responding to environmental stresses,and promoting nutrient absorption.In recent years,the rapid development of molecular biology,physio-ecology,and metabolomics has led to a deepening understanding of the functional mechanisms of LMWOAs.Studies have shown that these organic acids directly or indirectly affect the growth performance of plants by affecting the root structure,nutrient uptake,and response to both abiotic and biotic stresses.This review summarizes the current research progress on the effects of LMWOAs on plant growth and development and discusses their potential application prospects.关键词
