一例猫肠梗阻的诊断与治疗
Diagnosis and treatment of intestinal obstruction in a cat

Abstract
Feline basic clinical examination,complete blood count,biochemical examination,serum amyloid protein(SAA)testing and X-ray examination were performed to treat intestinal obstruction in a cat.The results revealed that the cat was lethargic,with weak intestinal peristaltic sounds upon auscultation and a firm mass detected in the abdominal cavity upon palpation.The complete blood count results showed a significant increase in lymphocytes,a slight elevation in red blood cell count and hemoglobin concentration,and a notable decrease in platelet count.Biochemical analysis indicated a mild increase in blood glucose levels.The SAA levels were within the normal range,while X-ray imaging identified a high-density mass in the intestines.The sick cat was initially diagnosed with foreign body-induced intestinal obstruction.Through conventional surgical procedures,the foreign object in the cat's intestines was successfully removed.After meticulous post-operative care,the sick cat was able to recover and be discharged from the hospital.关键词
