Challenges and strategies of ideological and political education reform in veterinary medicine curriculum under OBE concept

Abstract
The Outcome-Based Education(OBE)approach,which emphasizes student learning outcomes as the core orientation,provides innovative perspectives and methodologies for the ideological and political education reform in veterinary medicine curriculum.Under the OBE framework,this study thoroughly examines the challenges in implementing such reforms,including:setting teaching objectives,integrating course content,innovating teaching methods,transforming teacher roles,engaging student initiative,and establishing evaluation systems.To address these challenges,corresponding strategies are proposed:precise formulation of teaching objectives,systematic integration of instructional content,innovative teaching approaches,enhancement of teachers'ideological-political education competencies,full engagement of student agency,and improvement of assessment mechanisms.These solutions provide valuable references for improving the quality of ideological-political education in veterinary medicine programs and cultivating ethically-conscious and professionally-competent veterinary professionals.关键词
