Research on the Spatiotemporal Coupling Characteristics of Food Production Capacity and Territorial Space Carrying Capacity Un-der the Big Food Concept

Abstract
[Objective]To study the spatiotemporal coupling characteristics of food production capacity and territorial space carrying capacity under the big food concept.[Method]This study employs a coupling coordination degree model to analyze the spatiotemporal coupling relation-ship between food production capacity and land spatial carrying capacity in Chengdu,utilizing city level data from 1999 to 2023.[Result]Re-search has found that the overall food production capacity in Chengdu is declining,with a decrease in calorie and protein production capacity and an increase in fat production capacity.The spatial pattern of food production capacity is also showing a trend of concentration towards sub-urban districts and counties.The level of territorial space carrying capacity in Chengdu exhibits relatively low levels with distinct gradient dif-ferentiation characteristics.The main urban area demonstrates a characteristic"high development-low support-low load capacity"pattern,while suburban areas show a contrasting"low development-high support-high load capacity"mode.Research shows a strong link between food production and land capacity,but they face"high coupling-low coordination"challenges.[Conclusion]Based on the effective connection be-tween the big food concept and the territorial space carrying capacity,it can provide useful references for the practice of the big food concept.关键词
