Measurement method of power line crossing based on airborne LiDAR point cloud data

Abstract
Traditional power line crossing measurement techniques face challenges such as low efficiency and high labor intensity due to the conventional manual and total station measurement methods.This study aims to overcome these limita-tions and achieve a new,intelligent,rapid,and accurate measurement approach.The paper proposes using airborne light detection and ranging(LiDAR)point cloud data to obtain high-precision three-dimensional information of power lines.By filtering and classifying the raw point cloud data,power line points are extracted from non-ground points.The catenary char-acteristics are then used to fit the power lines.Finally,the distance between the power lines and the ground is measured to determine elevation,and the results are compared with field measurements.The findings indicate that airborne LiDAR point cloud data enables efficient and accurate extraction and crossing measurement of power lines,providing a valuable reference for practical engineering applications.关键词
