Abstract
The genesis of the gas reservoir is complicated and the gas bearing area is extremely irregular.Traditional Euclidean geometry is difficult to quantitatively evaluate the irregularity of gas bearing area,but fractal geometry has an advantage in this respect.Therefore,this paper takes the tight sandstone gas reservoir of Zizhou gas field as an example,and studies the fractal characteristics of gas bearing area by using the fractal geometry theory and the box-counting method by changing the degree of coarse visualization.The results show that the fractal power law is satisfied between the number of non-empty boxes supported by the gas bearing area and the linearity of the boxes under different linear coverage,which indicates that the gas-bearing area of the gas reservoir has self-similarity and is a natural fractal.Moreover,the fractal dimension is different with different gas bearing area.The fractal dimension is generally between 1~2,and the larger the gas bearing area,the higher the fractal dimension.It is concluded that the fractaldimension of gas bearing area of gas reservoir has a good indication of dynamic and static parameters such as geological reserves and discharge radius of single well,and the higher the fractal dimension,the larger the geological reserves and discharge radius of single well.This study provides a basis for the fractal characterization of gas bearing area of gas reservoirs,and has important reference significance for the calculation and application of the fractal dimension of gas bearing area of gas reservoirs.关键词
