摘要

Abstract

A continuous graphitization furnace consisting of a roasting section and a cooling section was designed.A three-dimensional steady-state geometric and mathematical model was established for the roasting section,and numerical simulation methods were used to study the electrothermal characteristics inside the furnace and explore the effects of voltage and production variation on the power density and outlet temperature inside the furnace.The results indicate that the power density is higher in the region facing the electrode,and reaches its maximum at the third row of electrodes;The temperature gradually increases from top to bottom,reaching its highest point below the third row of electrodes;When the production volume is constant,as the voltage increases,the power density inside the furnace increases,the average temperature at the outlet section increases,and the maximum temperature difference at the outlet section increases;When the voltage is constant,as the production volume increases,the heating time of the material decreases,the conductivity decreases,the power density inside the furnace decreases,the average temperature of the outlet section decreases,and the maximum temperature difference of the outlet section decreases.
