Abstract
This bimonthly review paper highlights 100 recently published papers on lithium batteries.We searched the Web of Science and found 5484 papers online from Oct.1,2025 to Nov.30,2025.100 of them were selected to be highlighted.The cathode studies focus on high-nickel ternary materials,LiCoO2(LCO),Li-rich layered,and halide-based compounds,with efforts directed at surface coatings,precursor design,synthesis parameters,and structural evolution during cycling.Anode research enhances silicon performance via surface coatings and indium incorporation,while also exploring lithium metal and lithium-aluminum alloys.Solid-state electrolyte work centers on synthesizing sulfide-and oxide-based materials,as well as polymer-oxide composites,and related performance research.Liquid electrolyte development prioritizes functional additives and advanced solvents to support high-voltage cathodes,Li-metal anodes,and Si-based anodes.Solid-state battery research addresses composite cathode fabrication,suppressing Li dendrites and interfacial reactions at the anode,and the effect of external pressure.For liquid systems,emphasis is on cathode design for lithium-sulfur batteries.Characterization and analysis cover Li-ion diffusion kinetics,solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)formation,and the(electro)chemical stability of sulfide electrolytes.Theoretical simulations investigate doping effects and structural evolution in cathode materials,electrolyte properties,and the discovery of novel solid electrolytes.In addition,the interfaces between electrolytes and electrodes in lithium batteries,as well as the interface between solid electrolytes and lithium,have also attracted considerable attention.关键词
