摘要
Abstract
Injection therapy for internal hemorrhoids is generally considered a safe and effective treatment.However,as an invasive procedure,postoperative complications can occur,including rectal perforation.The Department of Colorectal Surgery,The Sixth Affiliated Hospital,Sun Yat-sen University,admitted a patient with rectal perforation and presacral in-fection following injection therapy for internal hemorrhoids.Satisfactory overall treatment outcomes were achieved through staged surgical management focused on drainage:a colostomy was established to divert fecal flow,thereby pre-venting fecal contamination from complicating presacral infection control.Drainage via the presacral space helped localize the infection.After a presacral sinus formed,it was regarded as part of the rectal wall.The scarred rectal fistula was en-larged to achieve internal drainage,resulting in a relatively stable,diverticulum-like presacral sinus.Subsequently,the co-lostomy was successfully closed.关键词
