Abstract
In On Protracted War,Mao Zedong flexibly applied the thinking and principles of materialist dialectics to the establishment,consolidation and expansion of the Chinese united front against Japanese aggression.On this basis,he carried out theoretical innovations with Chinese spirit,Chinese expression and Chinese style,and initially formed a united front theory against Japanese aggression that is rich in the characteristics of the times.Its main contents include:adhering to the unity of principle and flexibility,integrating self-reliance with striving for foreign assistance,upholding the interdependence of struggle and unity,and combining patriotism with internationalism.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the united front thought embodied in Mao Zedong's On Protracted War remains an important magic weapon for the Communist Party of China to advance the great struggle and realize the great dream.关键词
