Abstract

In the domestic power generation industry,new energy is showing a rapid development trend,which enables thermal power units to participate more in peak regulation work.To fit the current operation mode of the units,it is important to deeply explore the peak shaving width of coal-fired thermal power units.It starts from the key perspective of the characteristics of pulverized coal on the boiler side to maximize the load regulation range of the unit.The research selectes a unit boiler of a certain power plant in Inner Mon-golia that adopts a 600 MW subcritical parameter counter-swirling combustion method,and carries out a series of targeted improve-ments and experiments around it.The test results show that when the opening degree of the baffle of the coal mill separator drops from 65%to 20%,the pulverized coal fineness correspondingly decreases by 6%to 8%.During this process,the minimum load of the unit decreased accordingly,with a reduction of up to 15 MW.In addition,by flexibly adjusting the opening degree of the exhaust air valve to change the pulverized coal concentration,the minimum load of the unit can be reduced to 35 MW.
