Curriculum Design and Practice for Geographical Information Science in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

Abstract
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence(AI)technology,the construction of geographical information science(GIS)major curriculumsin higher education faces new opportunities and challenges.We explored the integration of cutting-edge AI technology into foundational GIS curriculums through the design of specific teaching cases.We investigated the potential applications and practices of AI in GIS education,aiming to inspire innovative changes in the field.Introducing AI technology not only broadens students'knowledge,but also enhances their problem-solving skills and fosters innovative thinking in an AI-driven context.Students can better master new spatial information technologies and meet future career demands.The research result offers new ideas and methods for contemporary GIS education,aiming to promote the cultivation of innovative and practical skills in GIS professionals and to advance the development of GIS education.关键词
