Abstract

Material abundance and cultural-ethical enrichment are fundamental goals of socialist modernization.Elderly education plays a pivotal role in facilitating the elderly's pursuit of cultural-ethical enrichment.From the perspective of Pareto optimality,an analysis of how elderly education empowers the elderly to achieve cultural-ethical enrichment reveals three core relationships:the alignment of value goals,the adaptability of utility realization,and the unity of action pathways.Its multidimensional utility can be examined across economic,cultural,and social dimensions:economically,elderly education stimulates economic utility by empowering cultural-ethical enrichment,thereby bolstering the development of the silver economy;culturally,it unlocks cultural utility to enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of the elderly;socially,it transmits social utility to promote intergenerational integration and shared benefits.To effectively advance the role of elderly education in empowering cultural-ethical enrichment and achieve Pareto optimality,action-oriented strategies should focus on three priorities:aligning supply with demand,maintaining a dynamic balance between equity and efficiency,and fostering coordinated progress between vitality and order.Key measures include eliminating inertial dependence,optimizing resource allocation,and improving the governance system of elderly education.
