Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical efficacy of standardized systematic treatment over two courses for patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSHL)and its influencing factors.METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 41 SSHL patients who completed two courses of systematic treatment and had complete records.General patient information and hearing thresholds before and after each treatment course were collected.The differences in efficacy between the two courses and related influencing factors were statistically analyzed.RESULTS Univariate analysis revealed that patients with a time from onset of<14 days and those without vertigo achieved significantly better outcomes at the end of the first treatment course(P=0.047,P=0.017).The improvement in hearing threshold was significantly greater in the first course[(18.70±4.75)dB]compared to the second course[(4.61±7.43)dB],with a statistically significant difference(P=0.001).The overall response rate was significantly higher after the first course(53.65%)than after the second course(12.20%),and this difference was statistically significant(P=0.001).CONCLUSION Among patients with SSHL who completed two courses of systematic comprehensive treatment,the efficacy of the first course was significantly better than that of the second course,which demonstrated poorer therapeutic effects and a lower response rate.Patients without vertigo and with an onset duration of less than 2 weeks showed relatively better treatment outcomes.关键词
