Abstract
As an important part of scientific and technological journals,geoscience journals play a crucial role in promoting academic research on earthquake prevention and disaster reduction as well as the innovative development of related disciplines.In recent years,with a series of policies,guiding opinions and initiatives,emphasis has been placed on the vital role of science popularization in the development of sci-tech journals.Currently,exploring the integrated development path of"Academics+Science Popularization"for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction has attracted considerable attention.Taking South China Earthquake as an example,this paper introduces its initial attempts in the innovative development of"Academics+Science Popularization"and its experiential measures to facilitate the joint development of the journal itself and academics.The purpose is to provide insights for China's geoscience journals to enhance their communication capacity and comprehensive influence,as well as to improve the whole society's ability to respond to earthquake prevention and disaster reduction risks.关键词
