SEC reserve evaluation method for fault-block reservoirs:Taking complex fault-block reservoir in Hailar Oilfield as an example

Abstract
Hailar Oilfield is a complex fault-block reservoir group with a continental rift basin background,charac-terized by multi-orders fault development,rapid multi-sources sedimentation,coexistence of pores,fractures and vugs in reservoir space,and multi-genesis accumulation.In order to meet the requirements of SEC for confirming re-serve evaluation,research on SEC reserve evaluation method for fault-block reservoirs is conducted.The study fo-cuses on the characteristics of complex fault block reservoirs,the key technologies of volumetric reserve evaluation suitable for fault-block reservoirs are explored and studied from aspects such as delineation of oil-bearing area,identification of effective reservoirs,analogy of reservoir oil recovery and determination of layered reserves.A quan-titative method has been proposed for delineating the oil bearing area at the boundaries of faults of different levels,including synsedimentary faults,obstructive faults,and permeable faults.A"tripartite method"for reliable inter-pretation of reserve parameters in mixed sandstone,conglomerate and limestone reservoirs is studied to establish a whole-sequences analogous reservoir for oil recovery of fault block reservoirs,creating a layered proven reserve cal-culation model for co-production fracturing wells.The reliable techniques and resonable method for evaluating fault-block reservoirs developed in the research have been effectively applied in proven reserve evaluation practices,pro-viding certain reference significance for scientific SEC reserves evaluation in similar reservoirs.关键词
