Abstract
Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy(SILC)using conventional instruments in the treatment of benign gallbladder diseases.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data from 955 patients who underwent SILC(SILC group)and 985 patients who underwent conventional laparoscopic cholecystectomy(CLC group)in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine between January 2023 and January 2025.All procedures were performed by the same surgical team using conventional laparoscopic instruments.The following parameters were compared between the two groups:operative time,total time of hospital stay,total hospitalization costs,postoperative pain scores,complication incidence of Clavien-Dindo grade Ⅱ or higher,postoperative scar evaluation scores,and quality of life measures.Results Compared with the CLC group,patients in the SILC group showed no significant differences in operative time,total time of hospital stay,total hospitalization cost,postoperative pain score,and postoperative complications of Clavien-Dindo grade Ⅱ or higher compared with the CLC group(P>0.05).However,the SILC group demonstrated superior outcomes in postoperative scar assessment and better postoperative quality of life at 6 months after surgery(role-emotional,bodily pain and vitality)than the CLC group(P<0.05).Conclusion For the management of benign gallbladder diseases,SILC using conventional instruments demonstrates non-inferior safety and efficacy compared to CLC,while also reducing scar-related complications and improving postoperative quality of life.关键词
