摘要
Abstract
Guangxi is the largest sugar-producing region in China, accounting for approximately 60%of the country's total sugarcane cultivation area and sugar output, making it a crucial base for ensuring national sugar supply security.Production cost is a key factor influencing the willingness to cultivate sugarcane and the stability of planting areas. To optimize sugarcane production costs in Guangxi and enhance industrial competitiveness, this study systematically analyzes the total costs, cost structure, and temporal evolution patterns of sugarcane cultivation over the past two decades based on continuous data from the"National Agricultural Product Cost and Revenue Compilation(2005-2024)".The research reveals that the total production costs of sugarcane in Guangxi show a fluctuating upward trend with an average annual growth rate of 6.22%.Within the cost structure, labor costs have risen most rapidly, becoming the primary driver of increased total costs.Meanwhile, diminishing planting returns have led to continuous shrinkage of sugarcane cultivation areas. The main causes include low levels of production scale and mechanization, sustained increases in production factor prices coupled with inefficient utilization, and underdeveloped industrial chain benefit-sharing mechanisms. Finally, the study proposes cost optimization pathways and policy recommendations, including promoting large-scale mechanized production, advancing precision agriculture technologies, improving price and risk-sharing mechanisms, and establishing socialized service systems. The findings provide practical guidance and decision-making reference for curbing declining sugarcane cultivation profitability, stabilizing core production areas, and ensuring national sugar supply security.关键词
