摘要
Abstract
To investigate the differences in suspended solids characteristics of tailwater from different aquaculture species and guide treatment process selection, tailwater samples from typical perch(Micropterus salmoides)and snakehead(Channa argus)ponds in Foshan were collected and analyzed in mid-to-late October 2022.The parti-cle size distribution of suspended solids and the partitioning of chemical oxygen demand(COD),total nitrogen(TN),and total phosphorus(TP)between suspended particulate and dissolved phases were examined. Results showed that suspended particles in both types of tailwater were predominantly fine particles with sizes<50 μm(vol-ume fraction>73.5%).The pollutant occurrence forms differed significantly:in snakehead pond tailwater, over 50%of COD,TN,and TP were associated with the suspended particulate phase,indicating"particle-bound"pol-lution.In contrast, pollutants in perch pond tailwater were primarily in the dissolved phase(with negligible partic-ulate TP contribution).Consequently, for tailwater dominated by particle-bound pollution(e.g.,snakehead),enhancing solid-liquid separation techniques(e.g.,coagulation,sedimentation)targeting fine particles is crucial for effective pollution load reduction. For tailwater dominated by dissolved pollution(e.g.,perch),the focus should shift to biological treatment technologies. This study demonstrates that selecting targeted treatment processes based on pollutant occurrence forms is essential for improving aquaculture tailwater treatment efficiency.关键词
