Developing a Shared Mechanism for University Oceanographic Research Fleets:Insights From the Scientific Research and Talent Cultivation Practice Supported by the Vessel ZHONG SHAN DA XUE

Abstract
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the rapid advancement of the China's maritime undertakings,coupled with strong emphasis on accelerating the development of China into a leading maritime power,has driven a growing number of universities to independently construct and operate oceanographic research vessels.This emerging trend not only expands the nation's capacity for marine scientific exploration,but also creates new avenues for cultivating high-level talent in marine-related fields.In this context,a critical challenge for promoting high-quality educational development in the information age lies in how to effectively integrate the strengths of marine-oriented universities,particularly their advanced research platforms and disciplinary resources,in order to foster broader openness and sharing of educational assets,and to explore new pathways toward the modernization of higher education.Anchored in the practical experience of scientific research and talent training on the comprehensive oceanographic research and training vessel ZHONG SHAN DA XUE,this project seeks to provide innovative perspectives and feasible strategies for the Ministry of Education to establish a national sharing mechanism for marine research vessels.Additionally,it aims to offer valuable insights for enhancing frontier scientific research in marine studies and for nurturing top-tier,innovative talent within the higher education system.关键词
