Abstract

This study aims to explore the mechanism of Rattan tea extract dihydromyricetin(DMY)in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease(AD)based on network pharmacology.Through network phar-macology analysis technology,PPI network and KEGG pathway were analyzed by using software and platforms such as Swiss,String,David and Cytoscape.An AD mouse model was established,and AD behavior of mice was evaluated using Morris water maze test.The effects of DMY on APP,BACE1 proteins and MAPK/ERK signaling pathway in hippocampus of AD mice were determined using Western Blot analysis.A total of 34 targets and 13 pathways were collected and screened.Western blot analysis showed that DMY inhibited the expression of APP,BACE1 proteins and MAPK/ERK signal pathway over activation in hippocampus of mice.This study preliminarily revealed the pharma-cological mechanism of DMY in the treatment of AD,which may be achieved by participating in and affect APP,BACE1 proteins and MAPK/ERK signal pathways.It lays a theoretical foundation for fur-ther in-depth research and development of DMY.
