Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of combining singing vocal training with respiratory function training on pulmonary function and negative emotions in elderly patients with vertebral compression fractures.Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures who underwent conservative treatment at Quanzhou Orthopedic Hospital between January 2023 and August 2024 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method,with 40 patients in each.The control group received conventional osteoporosis treatment and rehabilitation nursing,whereas the observation group received additional singing vocal training.The pulmonary function parameters,anxiety and depression scale scores,and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results The lung function parameters in the study group were all higher than those in the control group,the scores of the Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)were lower than those in the control group,the scores of the World Health Organization quality of life brief version(WHOQOL-BREF)were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion For elderly patients with vertebral compression fractures,incorporating singing vocal training and respiratory function training into conventional rehabilitation training can more effectively enhance lung function,alleviate negative emotions,improve quality of life,and yield more pronounced clinical outcomes.关键词
