Flood Routing Method for Two Reservoirs Connected by a Channel

Abstract
To address the delayed dispatch decisions caused by hydraulic coupling in two reservoirs connected by a channel,this study proposes a dynamic flood dispatch model based on bidirectional feedback iteration between the two reservoirs.Focusing on the Gangmei Reservoir in Yangchun City,Guangdong Province,a closed-loop bidirectional iterative model is constructed using a"hypothesis-calculation-verification-correction"four-step algorithm,integrating water level difference-driven flow and flow-induced water level feedback.Validation through design flood processes under P=0.1%and P=2%scenarios demonstrated that the model reduces the peak water level prediction error for the lower reservoir from 3.3%(traditional single-reservoir method)to 0.15%.The research outcomes facilitate multi-objective coordination between flood control and resource utilization,providing a technical reference for real-time dispatch in Gangmei Reservoir and similar complex reservoir systems.关键词
