Abstract

The current 3D printing technology can only achieve micro-scale printing due to the slow printing speed and long fabri-cation time.In order to achieve a scale leap in this technology,a new type of multi-nozzle 3D printing method was proposed to de-sign and manufacture of sprinklers with multi-nozzle arrays,and simulation analyses of the internal flow channels of the nozzle were performed to determine that the slurry from each nozzle can be deposited onto the substrate at the same time.First,using sil-icone elastomer foam SE1700 as the printing material,the filament width of 600 μm was determined when the extrusion pressure was 110 kPa and the printing speed was 10 mm/s by the co-regulation of the extrusion pressure and printing speed of the process parameters.Then,the height difference of±10 μm and the inner diameter difference of±5 μm were determined through the ex-ploration of printing filament width consistency for printhead manufacturing.Finally,the mechanical consistency of the printed samples was investigated,and the results show that the difference in mechanical properties between the samples printed with this nozzle and the ordinary single nozzle is within 5%.
