The development of a universal macro program template for conic sections based on the unified polar coordinate equation

Abstract
When machining conic sections such as ellipses,hyperbolas,and parabolas on a CNC lathe,manual programming using basic instructions is not feasible,and macro programming is generally required.Currently,the development of macro programs for conic sections is mostly focused on analyzing a specific type of conic section,lacking a universal programming model for all three types.When the type of curve changes,it is necessary to re-model and re-program.Therefore,taking the HNC-21T CNC system as an example,a unified polar equation of conic sections is utilized to construct a general macro program template for the three types of conic sections.This template features a simple program structure,allowing for easy conversion among the three types of conic sections,thereby reducing the difficulty of macro program development for conic sections and improving programming efficiency.关键词
