Abstract

For the coupled thermochemical conversion of rice husk and bituminous coal,the coupled pyrolysis/combustion thermogravimetric experiments under different blending ratios were carried out,and the reaction behavior,interaction and kinetic characteristics of the coupling process were analyzed.The results showed that co-pyrolysis of rice husk and bituminous coal integrated the pyrolysis characteristics of both materials,exhibiting multiple reactive stages.Rice husk blending led to a decrease of about 100℃in the initial pyrolysis temperature,an increase in the pyrolysis characteristic index and an enhancement in the overall reactivity.The co-pyrolysis interaction mainly occurred in the rice husk volatile releasing stage(200-400℃)and char pyrolysis stage(>700℃).Compared with individual combustion,the co-combustion of rice husk and bituminous coal exhibited an increased number of reactive stages and a higher overall activation energy,reaching a maximum of 131.82 kJ/mol.The co-combustion behavior closely resembled that of raw material with a higher blending ratio.A negative synergistic effect was observed in the rice husk combustion stage(200-400℃),whereas a positive synergistic effect was demonstrated in the bituminous coal combustion stage(400-700℃).
