Abstract

In order to screen flue-cured tobacco varieties suitable for planting in Bijie tobacco area of Guizhou,five new flue-cured tobacco varieties,including Yunyan 301,Yunyan 119,Zhongyan 300,Xiangyan 6 and Zhongchuan 208,were introduced in this study,with Yunyan 87 as the control.The agronomic traits,natural disease resistance,economic traits,chemical composition and sensory quality of different flue-cured tobacco varieties were compared.The results showed that Zhongchuan 208 had strong growth potential,Zhongyan 300 had poor growth potential,and the other varieties were equivalent to Yunyan 87.The natural disease resist-ance of Zhongyan 300,Zhongchuan 208 and Yunyan 119 in the field was stronger than that of Yunyan 87,and the other varieties were equivalent to Yunyan 87.The economic traits of Yunyan 301,Xiangyan 6 and Zhong-chuan 208 were similar to those of the control Yunyan 87,and Yunyan 119 and Zhongyan 300 were worse than those of the control Yunyan 87.The chemical composition content of each variety of tobacco leaves was suit-able,and the chemical quality of Yunyan 301 was the best.The sensory quality of each variety was not much different,and the sensory quality of Yunyan 87 and Zhongyan 300 was relatively good.The comprehensive e-valuation value of Yunyan 301 is equivalent to that of Yunyan 87,indicating that Yunyan 301 can be used as a reserve variety in Bijie tobacco area,which needs further verification and promotion.
