Abstract

Tiandi Wangpo coal mine produces a large amount of anthracite coal gangue.In order to achieve the goal of resource utilization of coal gangue,it is urgent to study its basic combustion characteristics.Large-sized gangue and fine gangue were selected as the research objects and anthracite coal slime was used as the comparison object.The research results show that the calorific value of large-sized gangue and coal slime is relatively high,exceeding 10.3 MJ/kg.While the calorific value of fine gangue is extremely low.The sum of SiO2 and Al2O3 in the coal ash of the three samples is over 90%and the ash melting point is greater than 1 500℃.The ignition index(Td),stable combustion characteristics(Rw)and burnout characteristics(Rj)of the large-sized gangue and coal slime are simi-lar,both belonging to the category of solid fuels that are difficult to ignite and burn out..TG and DTG analysis of large-sized gangue and coal slime show that the ignition and burnout temperature of the large-sized gangue is 534℃and 617℃respectively.While the ignition and burnout temperature of coal slime is 430℃and 500℃respectively.The kinetic parameter of coal gangue is calculated by the Freeman Carroll method.The result shows that the reaction order of the volatile pyrolysis of coal gangue is 0.688 and the activation energy is 119 kJ/mol.The pre-exponential factor of the pyrolysis reaction is 0.34×1011.As to the char of coal gangue,the reaction order is 1.87,the activa-tion energy is 189 kJ/mol and the pre-exponential factor is 1.56×1013.
