基于VMD和TSA的滚动轴承故障诊断方法
Fault Diagnosis Method of Rolling Bearing Based on Variational Modal Decomposition and Time Synchronous Averaging

Abstract
Aiming at the inefficiency of early fault diagnosis in rolling bearings,which limits comprehensive,accurate,and timely identification of their operating conditions and fault types,this study proposes a fault diagnosis method based on Variational Mode Decomposition(VMD)and Time Synchronous Averaging(TSA).First,the vibration signals of rolling bearings are decomposed using VMD.Then,the phase angle values of each Intrinsic Mode Function(IMF)are calculated as criteria to select phase-similar IMFs for signal reconstruction,thereby restoring the baseline signal and mitigating signal complexity issues such as single-component feature overlap.Subsequently,sliding-window TSA is applied to enhance periodic impact features,followed by Envelope Spectrum Analysis(ESA)to identify bearing operating states and fault types.Experimental results demonstrate that compared with conventional methods,the proposed approach enables earlier detection of minor faults,achieves accurate fault type discrimination,and effectively balances diagnosis efficiency with precision,significantly improving diagnostic performance.关键词
