Abstract

The enclosure structure of a building is one of the main factors determining its energy performance.Previous studies on enclosure structures have focused more on cold regions,while current research on the impact of enclosure structures on energy consumption in hot-summer and warm-winter regions remains insufficient.This article takes a campus public building in Guangdong Province as an example to study the impact of various wall factors on its energy consumption and building carbon emissions during operation.This ar-ticle establishes a model of a campus teaching building,analyzes the impact of different wall factors on building energy consumption using EnergyPlus software,and analyzes the degree of impact of different wall factors on operational carbon emissions based on the car-bon emission factor method.Conducting sensitivity analysis on the impact of various factors on energy consumption,the study found that:1)the location of the insulation layer con-tributes the most to carbon reduction effect,followed by the thickness of the insulation lay-er,then the external wall structure,and finally the insulation layer material.2)According to the energy saving and carbon reduction effect of the above factors,the optimi-zation scheme is to select extruded styrene foam board as the insulation layer,with a thick-ness of 20 mm.
