摘要

Abstract

In order to effectively reduce the stress at the ends of the stiffening ribs of the ordinary zigzag buckling restrained brace(OZBRB),enable the brace to fully exert its en-ergy dissipation capacity,and allow it to begin to start yielding and dissipating energy un-der frequent earthquakes,to adapt to seismic effects of different intensities,two different levels of cutting were applied to the core unit of the brace.A core unit cutting new buck-ling restrained brace(CCBRB)was designed,and its structure and characteristics were introduced.Theoretical formulas for equivalent stiffness,yield force and yield displacement of CCBRB were derived,and its theoretical model was established.Four models divided into three groups were designed,and ABAQUS software was used for mod-eling to investigate the mechanical properties of the three groups of models under unidirec-tional axial compressive loading,the energy dissipation properties under single-cycle recip-rocating loading and the differences in the stresses at the ends of the stiffening ribs,and to analyse the constructive rationality of the CCBRB,and verify the reliability of the theoreti-cal formula.The results show that:the derived theoretical formulas have higher accuracy;CCBRB has smaller yield displacement,and the load-displacement curves and skeleton curves under single compression show obvious multi-segment folding forms;CCBRB has a full hysteresis curve with good energy dissipation properties;The stress at the end of the stiffening rib of CCBRB is significantly reduced compared to the grouped OZBRB,which provides a better improvement of the stress at the end of the stiffening rib.
