宁夏贺兰口沟山洪泥石流成灾特征分析
Analysis of the disaster characteristics of flash floods and debris flows in Helankou Gully,Ningxia

Abstract
Frequent flash floods and debris flows in Helankou Gully,located in Ningxia,pose a threat to the Rock Panting in the Helan Mountains.Based on the drone aerial photography,satellite imagery,and on-site survey,the characteristics of Helankou Gully and the source of sediment were analyzed comprehensively.The results show that the fluid in the upper and middle reaches can be confirmed as the debris flow,while the fluid in the lower middle reach is flash flood.The debris flow theory is used to evaluate the maximum particle con-centration in flash floods,and the sectional mean velocity is evaluated further according to the maximum con-centration.The estimation method has been proven to be effective by comparing the two evaluated values with the empirical value based on hydrology and the accurate averaged velocity with reverse calculation from mea-surements.Based on the survey and evaluation results,the disaster characteristics of flash floods and debris flows in Helankou Gully were analyzed and proposed.The results can technically support the prevention and control of flash floods and debris flows in Helankou Gully,also provide reference for the application of debris flow theory for evaluating the maximum sediment concentration and mean velocity of flash floods.关键词
