Abstract

To further clarify the distribution of drought tolerance genes in wheat new varieties(lines),two KASP markers(WH_K_1000070 and WH_K_1000038)closely linked to drought tolerance genes were used for molecular detection of TaDreb-B1 and 1-feh-w3 genes in 94 wheat new varieties(lines).The results showed that the detection rate of favorable alleles for marker WH_K_1000070(17.02%)was higher than that for marker WH_K_1000038(15.96%).A total of 3 haplotypes,1 heterozygous type,1 deletion type,and 5 allele combinations were detected in the tested materials.Among them,16 materials contained the favorable haplotype TaDreb-B1a,accounting for 17.02%;15 materials contained the favorable haplotype Westonia type,accounting for 15.96%;and 6 materials contained the optimal allele combination TaDreb-B1a+Westonia type,accounting for 6.38%.This study provides reference information for drought tolerance genetic breeding of wheat in the Huang-Huai Wheat Region.
