Abstract

To address the challenges of insufficient coverage,low efficiency,and high spoilage rates in the cold chain logistics network for agricultural products in sparsely populated mountainous areas of Southwest China—primarily due to complex terrain and dispersed population—this study takes Yunnan Province as a typical case.By integrating methods such as the optimized gravity model,factor analysis,and systematic clustering,the research examines the nodes and corridors of the regional cold chain logistics network.The results indicate that:(1)Based on a four-di-mensional indicator system,Kunming is identified as the overarching hub,with Qujing,Honghe,Dali,etc.,as sec-ondary hubs,and areas such as Northwest Yunnan as terminal nodes,forming a three-tier hierarchical structure;(2)The optimized gravity model quantitatively reveals a spatial pattern characterized by"core prominence,layered attenu-ation,and marginal collapse"in logistics connectivity,with the Kunming□Qujing corridor as the primary strong-at-traction axis;(3)Accordingly,a hub-and-spoke network structured as"one core,three axes"is constructed,achiev-ing a balanced optimization of efficiency and coverage through hierarchical node classification and corridor-based lay-out.This study establishes a tailored optimization framework for the cold chain logistics network that aligns with the geographical and industrial characteristics of Yunnan Province,providing theoretical insights and decision-making ref-erences for the high-quality planning of agricultural product circulation systems and rural revitalization in similar mountainous regions of Southwest China.
