Catalytic Oxidation of Nitrile-Containing Wastewater by Plasma Enhanced Iron Salt

Abstract
The research adopted dielectric barrier discharge to generate low-temperature plasma for catalytic treatment of nitrile-containing wastewater.The solid catalyst K2Fe4O7 was synthesized by the hydrothermal method and characterized.It takes nitrile-containing wastewater as the research object and chemical oxygen demand(COD)as the index.First,single-factor experiments were conducted respectively on discharge voltage,discharge time and pH value,and then response surface optimization experiments were carried out.The optimal conditions were obtained as follows:discharge voltage 40 kV,discharge time 2.49 h,pH value 2.The predicted optimal COD removal rate was 79.43%,and the measured value was 79.14%.This research provides a new research idea for the purification of nitrile-containing wastewater.关键词
