Analysis of Houpo(Magnolia Officinalis Cortex)for Treating"Qi-Blood Impediment Syndrome"
摘要
Abstract
Houpo(Magnolia Officinalis Cortex)has the effects of drying dampness,moving qi,resolving accumulation,and relieving asthma,and is widely used in clinical practice.Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica first recorded that Houpo is indicated for treating"qi-blood impediment syndrome",and physicians in later generations have provided theoretical interpretations of this effect.This paper explores the origin and verifies the efficacy of Houpo in treating"qi-blood impediment syndrome"by combining the materia medica monographs such as Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica and Commentary on Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica,etc.,as well as the compatibility of formulas like Houpo Decoction(厚朴汤)and Houpo Decoction Concentrate(厚朴煎),so as to provide guidance for clinical practice.关键词
