PENG Peichu's Experience in Treating Mucosal Lesions Based on Theory of"Pathogenic Factors Accumulating in Sanjiao,Dysfunction in Acting as a Pivot"

Abstract
Professor PENG Peichu differentiates and treats mucosal lesions based on the theory of"patho-genic factors accumulating in Sanjiao and dysfunction in acting as a pivot".He believes that the mucosa is similar to the functions of Sanjiao in terms of distribution,protection of the body,and maintenance of metabolic processes,and is similar to the function of the Shaoyang in protecting the body and communicating between the inside and outside.Once the diet is not balanced,causing pathogenic factors to accumulate in Sanjiao and internal damp-heat obstruction,or emotional distress leading to liver and gallbladder stagnation and dysfunction of the Shaoyang pivot,all of which can lead to the occurrence of mucosal lesions.Based on this,the basic pathogenesis of mucosal lesions is summarized as"pathogenic factors accumulating in Sanjiao and dysfunction in acting as a pivot".In treatment,the principle of"clearing heat,promoting diuresis,unblocking Sanjiao,soothing the liver and gallbladder,and harmonizing the pivot"is followed,and a Nianmo Formula(黏膜方)is prescribed to achieve the effects of harmonizing the Shaoyang,clearing heat and promoting diuresis,and unblocking the bowels and eliminating turbidity.It has achieved remarkable results in the treatment of mucosal lesions such as chronic atrophic gastritis,oral ulcers,and bladder cancer,with a prospect of providing inspiration for the diagnosis and treatment of mucosal lesions.关键词
